By all accounts this week was a bit quieter than the last few. But some good things happened and others get closer:
The series with Dr. Anne Marie Evers:
Finished the last of the 5 scheduled weekly interviews with Dr. Evers about the cornerstones upon which I wrote my last book: ‘A Man’s Work Is Never Done: A Novel About Mentoring Our Sons.’ It was great working with her and I appreciated her interest and her collegial support. The full series of interviews will be available on my web site with the last two links being installed this week. I want to thank contacttalkradio.com for their support as well in hosting all the interviews and the invitation to be a part of their show.
The APSGO Conference-2015:
APSGO stands for the Association of Parent Groups in Ontario. It will be held at The Cupe Bldg-Local 905, 165 Pony Drive, Newmarket, Ontario. I will present one of the workshops based on my book-‘A Man’s Work Is Never Done: A Novel About Mentoring Our Sons. I will discuss:
**The ‘3 C’s’ Needed for strong and Effective parenting
**An outline of the ’10 steps’ needed to rebuild damaged and distant relationships with fatherless children. This is ideal and very useful to single moms, single dads and grandparents many of which are now parenting their children’s children.
**Understanding and guiding young men through the transition from boyhood to manhood.
